Start at the seam evidence

Record seam position, continuity, upset appearance, heat-affected pattern, test response, and when the symptom begins. Treat these as clues rather than proof of a single setting or component failure.

  • Review forming and edge presentation before welding
  • Review monitoring trends and verified inspection results
  • Escalate unsafe or unexplained conditions to qualified personnel
